Daunted by the sheer number of movie sites/blogs in exsistence? Disappointed by the laughable film news, critique and commentary offered by most popular film blogs? Are you constantly shouting at your computer over a completely idiotic film review from some infantile blogger? Are you tired of seeing the word “awesome” every time you visit a film blog? Fed up with film not being taken seriously as an art form on the internet but only as a facet of nerd culture? Do you secretly suppose that the majority of film bloggers don’t know that film existed before 1970?

We are here to help.

Here at Film-Cycle we survey the vast landscape of the film blog-o-sphere and seek to redeem it, making it worthy of being seen by your precious eyes. We critique the criticizers, reprimand the juvenile, highlight the good and recycle the bad, bringing some much needed order to the chaos of modern film journalism.

We pull directly from the big boys of film blogging, compiling, digesting, and regurgitating everything you never knew you always wanted to know about film.

  1. Good writing overall in the site, like the idea as well. Good going.

However, for a film related website it is surprisingly devoid of any images. Each post needs to have images from the film/actors to generate interest, else your audience is not going to come back.

  2. I stopped reading this blog when it became clear to me that the author is only semi-literate.

How do you expect me to waste my time trying to read drivel that has grammar mistakes that a grade 7 drop out would make?

Sorry, but my time is too valuable to waste reading something written by someone who sounds like a moron.

  3. Thank god for this site. FINALLY there’s someone on the internet who understands that everything is stupid and has the guts to hurl snark about it using an anonymous pseudonym.
